This May, an ACI team worked with ADRA Argentina and Paraguay (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) to bring clean water to a REACH school in rural Paraguay. The school is located in Rio Verde, Chaco, Paraguay. It contains over 100 indigenous Guarani students that also live with-in the compound. An ACI Facility Unit was built to filter the water going into the cafeteria and kitchen. Along with this, an ACI Household Unit was put into both the girl’s and boy’s dormitories. Finally, a sand filter was built to clean the water for their cleaning facilities. This water was very turbid and will be used for a newly built well during the dry-season. It was a very successful trip and we look forward to having more of our units in such areas soon.
