Why we work where we do.

We go where asked to train and empower others
Aqua Clara goes where asked to help bring clean water to those in need. There is no sales pitch. People are at the core of the AC mission, and as a result we work where there are established relationships based on open communication and trust.

AC employs two transfer agents who travel regularly to implement and support AC programs. Additionally, program launch and management may take place through existing external linkages e.g. via a church, nonprofit or business; who are trained by AC in the US to transfer AC technology. They then train locals in their community of interest. We work with motivated groups that have a long-term sustained relationship with a particular community.

Who we work with

AC partners with local, respected leaders to aid in the creation of locally owned businesses. When trusted locals, such as our internal partners, ‘buy in’ to the solution that AC offers, the community itself is more likely to use and adapt the technology. This local trust relationship is fundamental to program success, and thus a key component in selecting where we will next go.

Help the AC Community Grow

After initial field testing in Kenya, AC launched 2008 by focusing on programs in Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. Our training sessions have led to additional partner-supported programs in Rwanda, Indonesia and Haiti. Preliminary contacts have recently been opened in the Philippines, Uganda, Vietnam and Guatemala.

Our programs are dependent upon partnering with compassionate, capable and motivated locals. Do you know of individuals and organizations who may be interested in such a program? Connect us.
