ACI Headquarters & Laboratory

The home base of Aqua Clara International is located in the Michigan State University Bioeconomy Institute in Holland, Michigan. We are pleased to be hosted by Dr. Ted Lowdon, Emeritus Professor of BioSystems in the MSU Department of BioSystems & Agriculture.  Ted is actively engaged in Aqua Clara initiatives, particularly in Kenya, and is a valued member of our Science and Technology Council.  Our space in this facility enables us to enjoy ongoing collaborative relationships with MSU research administrators and faculty.

Aqua Clara’s basic research into new and inexpensive clean water technologies takes place here. Once initial testings are completed satisfactorily, we move new technologies to beta sites in the field, either in this country, or in countries where we have other installations. Final testing at our beta sites readies the technology for general use.
