This year we were lucky to have our grounds, in Rigoma, selected as the venue for the World Food Day National Celebration. Though the expected chief guest, the first lady of the republic of Kenya, was unable to attend, the Governor of Nyamira County graced the occasion.

The Aqua Clara booth was one of the busiest, with hundreds of the attendees taking time to be trained by our staff about Biosand filters and the different varieties of hollow fiber membrane filters. In all, 5 filters were sold on the spot with around 15 individuals signing up to be supplied later.

Aqua Clara Kenya’s range of products including Biosand Filter, Household Membrane Filter, School Filter and Facility Filter are quickly gaining market acceptance with over 4,000 filters sold across Kenya since 2009. This was another wonderful opportunity to showcase our products and reach out to the community members who are in dire need of solutions for their water problems.
